Quotes

Quote requests are free and carry no obligation on your side. A quote we provide is an offer based on the project as you described it; if the actual conditions differ materially (hidden damage, access problems, additional scope), the quote may need to be revised — and any revision is explained and agreed before work proceeds.

The website

Content on this site is general information about home renovation, not engineering, legal or safety advice for your specific property. Building rules and permit requirements vary by municipality and change over time — always confirm with your local building department for decisions that depend on them.

Regulated work

Work regulated in Ontario (electrical, gas, plumbing and others) is performed by appropriately licensed contractors. Home-Renovations.ca does not itself hold trade licences and never claims to.

Acceptable use

Don't submit false requests, other people's personal information, or content that's unlawful. We may decline requests at our discretion — including projects we're not confident we can do well.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
